How To Lose Stomach Fat Quickly
I want to start off by saying most of the health and fitness industry doesn’t want you to know how to lose stomach fat quickly by using this age old method that doesn’t require anything but your effort, really no money at all. That is why it is not a widely spread topic, if people knew this then it would drop the sales of diet pills or those crash course diets that never work. I know I have tried so many different things that I was about to pull my hair out until someone enlightened me on what a vacuum was.
I know that sounds funny and you might be asking yourself vacuum? But here is exactly what I am talking about, it is a stomach vacuum exercise and it helps strength the correct muscles around your waist line to improve your belly fat and reduce your overall waist measurement. This is the same exact trick that body-builders do to get that very defined 6 or 8 pack that they have, I don’t know about you but I always wondered how a person that weighs close to 300 lbs maintains a six pack year around. Well, the answer is pretty simple, it is a stomach vacuum exercise and it works.
Let’s Talk about Stomach Vacuum Exercise
The stomach vacuum exercise has been around for a long time and is what a lot of people use to maintain a slimmer waistline even if you eat 6 meals a day. In fact eating smaller portion meals every few hours is much better for you than eating 3 large meals but that can lead into a whole other topic to talk about so back to the vacuums exercise use and why it is important. We are led to believe that the belly fat is an OK thing because it is the hardest thing to get rid of however I can say for myself that I do this exercise every morning on an empty stomach and the rewards have been amazing. In just a few short weeks, I was able to not only have a smaller waist line but I was able to get rid of that stubborn belly fat that has been hanging around for years now.
With that being said, for years I had a 4 pack instead if the goal that I had of having six pack abs. Not only that, I was able to get a V cut instead of just having the flat 6 pack abs which to be honest I never thought I could get after years of trying. It only took me about a few weeks of doing a stomach vacuum exercise every morning to start seeing the results.
Here is an easy step by step method how to do the stomach vacuum exercise.
The example below is my routine which I have found the easiest to obtain.
- Wake up and before meal or a shake (empty stomach)
- Take a deep breath in
- Exhale completely
- Take a deep breath in
- Exhale completely
- Without taking another breath now suck in your stomach as hard as you can then hold it for 10 to 30 seconds. Image your belly button trying to touch your backbone.
- Inhale upon release of the stomach vacuum
- Rest for a minute then repeat the process 3 times.

The goal of a stomach vacuum is to tighten those hard to reach stomach muscles to get them stronger. The stomach vacuum if done every day for a month will yield great results to slim down your waistline. I will say that while doing this exercise it is very important to try to not only pull up your stomach but to also try to concentrate on contracting your ab muscles which may be hard at first but after about a week this you get a better understanding of how to do this by learning your body better.

So after showing the two different styles that people use the point is still the same, deep breath then exhale next pull your stomach up into your ribs then hold while trying to contract your abs. I will say that if it does hurt then your probably aren’t doing the exercise correctly. I say this because our body doesn’t use some of these ab muscles in our daily activity unless you happen to be a well-defined athlete already which in that case you can still benefit from the stomach vacuum exercise.

By using the stomach vacuum daily you can reduce your waistline while gaining the use of stomach muscle that was once weaker than others which naturally causes an imbalance in your core. This is what causes a lot of us to have back problems, stomach problems, or just that stubborn belly fat that has been hanging around for years now. From my own personal experience with using stomach vacuum exercises, I have not only seen my waistline reduced but I have better posture and do not over eat as I used to do.
Stomach vacuum exercises are great for men and women and there really is no difference in the way the exercise is done although it does seem to be easier for women to lay on their back to do this exercise. Maybe this is a helpful starting point for those that have trouble with this exercise standing up, I did not have any trouble doing the stomach vacuum exercise other than it was not easy to hold at first but after about a week the muscles started getting stronger and it became easier to do.
