What Is Health And Fitness?
- The quick definition of Health is the state of being free of injury or illness.
- The quick definition of Fitness is the condition of being physically fit and healthy.
In short, to obtain true fitness then you need to be physically fit without having any injuries or illnesses and to be honest I think a lot of us would love to live a life without a worry of injury or illness. The real question here is how to stay physically fit without injury or illness and to obtain that answer you must have the discipline to make goals, eat right, and get the proper rest. So I ask you is health and fitness important to you, it must be or you wouldn’t be reading this. Great news because I am here to help but the time is now so don’t procrastinate.
It is very easy this day and age to give into the your cravings by getting fast food or something just as simple as a snack from a vending machine but did you know that it is actually healthier to go without eating? Rather than to give into those extremely processed foods that are just so conveniently put right in front of your face. By no means am I condoning not eating, I am just merely saying that if you had the choice of a McDonald’s burger or not eating then it is best to just wait it out until you can get something a little more value added to you bodies natural function. If you want to stay healthy then you have to make the correct decisions when it comes to what you put in your body, meaning eating right is important to your everyday wellness. Quick fact, did you know that eating one orange is 10 times better for than drinking a glass of orange juice? Just another quick and convenient method that has been put out for you and label healthy, rather tricky don’t you think?

Without goals to drive us and give us motivation then we will most likely end up not being as healthy as we could be and stand a better chanceof illness. I have said this many times before, in the time when you feel like you can’t do something anymore or you feel like giving up then you need to remember why you started and how can you do that without having goals. This is one of the most important parts to obtaining great health and fitness. You have to imagine that you are running a race and you are at the starting line but without goals how could you possibly end up at the finish line?
Its about like asking what is health and wellness?
In the end the results of having the proper health and fitness will help you have a life that you will enjoy more often because you aren’t taking days off or staying home when your family is out doing things, not being sick or run down all the time. True health and fitness is work in itself but the benefits outweigh the cost by 10 fold in my opinion. Let me give you an example of my life, since being healthier and exercising properly by doing the task that I have described in my past post on this website, I have not been sick a single day and I also have had more energy to do things that I once had no drive to do before. At 36 years old I truly feel like I am in my 20s again and the topics that I put on this website are not just for men or women, it is for anyone who wants to truly be healthy and obtain their goals of real fitness.
